Hey, I’m Jad. A Lebanese American who has lived the majority of their lives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Yes, a handful. But the thing that has been keeping my hands full throughout these years is social entrepreneurship (tawzee3.org). This is something that fulfils both my interests, intersecting science and business in an intertwined way. I am currently on the pre-med track at Stanford hoping to major in Chemistry! You switch on the TV, relax, and begin watching your favourite show on Cartoon Network: the robot-filled Kids Next Door. As a child, you never would have believed that those robots would exist during your lifetime if someone had told you so.
